Nem runs Rose Nails from her own space inside Village Flair, the salon her mother-in-law Belinda has been part of in Ashington for forty-five years.
Nem is a fully trained nail technician with three years’ experience, and trained with NTC. She works alongside Belinda and the Village Flair hair team in the salon’s hours, and can do Mondays and evenings by arrangement.

How do I book with Rose Nails?
Call Village Flair on 01903 892670. All Rose Nails appointments are booked by telephone, through the salon. Nem works the salon’s hours, Tuesday to Saturday, 9am to 5pm, and can do Mondays and evenings by arrangement.
How much is a manicure at Rose Nails?
At Rose Nails, inside Village Flair in Ashington, West Sussex, an express manicure is £25 and a luxury manicure is £35. A gel manicure is from £30 and an express gel manicure from £25. A spa pedicure is £36. Nail art is extra, from £2 a nail.

Are your polishes HEMA-free?
Yes. All our polishes are TPO-free and HEMA-free. HEMA is one of the ingredients most often behind allergic reactions to gel nails.
Do you do acrylic nails?
No. Rose Nails works with gel and builder gel only.
What is builder gel?
Builder gel is a thicker, flexible gel laid over your own nails to strengthen them and give a smooth, even shape. It can also be shaped into extensions to add length. Rose Nails does both: an overlay is from £30 and extensions are from £35.
How long does a gel manicure last?
Usually two to three weeks, depending on your nails and how you look after them.
Can I choose a design from the nail art menu?
Yes. Every design has a name and a level. Tell us which one you’d like when you book. Nem can also do any artwork on request. Designs and prices are agreed with Nem at your consultation.
Do you do nails for men?
Yes. Rose Nails does manicures and pedicures for men. Book by telephone through the salon on 01903 892670.
Can I have my nails done for my wedding?
Yes. Rose Nails does bridal nails, and Village Flair does wedding hair in the same salon, so you can book both together.
What is your cancellation policy?
Please give us at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel. Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice are charged 50% of the booked service, because they don’t leave us time to fill the appointment. Missed appointments are charged in full.
